The Theatre’s Passageway links two parallel streets in the city center, Čopova street and Nazorjeva street - the first pedestrian zones in Ljubljana. Its name comes from The Ljubljana City Theatre, which was built in the 1970s by the architect Janez Lajovic and to which it provides the main entrance access. The interior of the passage, with its characteristic elements of concrete ceiling lamellas and the theatre’s advertising showcases executed in rough concrete, is the work of the architect Grega Košak. The concept of the renovation is based on preserving these elements, elaborating them with contemporary interpretation.
